The Water Before Dawn is from a sequence of quasi improvised works titled Consecutive Midnights.

These are long meditative structures dealing with layered loops of long durations.

The intonation of the work is drawn from the 31 note systems of Christiaan Huygens (1629-1695) and Adriaan Daniël Fokker (1887-1972).

The synthesizers used are from Native Instruments Reaktor and designed by Gabriel Mulzer, Rick Scott, & Martijn Zwartjes .. great thanks to them.
