Regression:
Andrew’s disorder manifested slowly.
His language was way behind where it should be through his second year.
However, he could say his alphabet and count to 20.
By the time he was three his language began to regress.
There was no avoiding that there was something seriously wrong.
For a number of years Andrew seemed to cycle. Around every 15 months he would cycle into a period of horrible behavioral problems and would regress and loose knowledge and skills.
